A National Trust Property 7 miles  north-west of Banbury.
Late 17th century house remodeled 1927-29 for the  Second Viscount Bearsted.
The house contains his outstanding collections of  Old Master paintings, English and French porcelain and Brussels tapestries.  Large and interesting garden contains wide lawns and terraced herbaceous borders  descending to ornamental pools and bog garden. Also kitchen garden and national  collection of asters. Restaurant and shop.

Directions Take the A422 from Stratford following the signs for Banbury. Continue along  this road for approximately 12 miles passing through Ettington and Pillerton  Priors. Shortly after climbing Edge Hill, Upton House will be seen on the right,  clearly signed
