The district benefits from well-developed transportation links which enhance its accessibility and underlines its central geographical location.
ROAD (Buses)
The M40 London to Birmingham motorway runs through the district with a large and busy junction at Longbridge to the south of Warwick. There are easy links to the M42, and the A46 allows easy access
to the M69, M6 and M1, via the Coventry Eastern by-pass.
RAIL Rail
Three railway lines pass through South Warwickshire providing important commuter facilities at Leamington, Warwick, Warwick Parkway, Lapworth and Hatton Railway Stations.
AIR
Coventry Airport is in Warwick district although it is owned by Coventry City Council. It is mainly a general aviation, training and diversionary facility providing only a small number of scheduled and
charter services. The regions principal airport, Birmingham International, is situated just six miles north of the area.
