The district benefits from well-developed  transportation links which enhance its accessibility and underlines its central  geographical location.

ROAD            (Buses)

The M40 London to Birmingham motorway runs  through the district with a large and busy junction at Longbridge to the south  of Warwick. There are easy links to the M42, and the A46 allows easy access to  the M69, M6 and M1, via the Coventry Eastern by-pass.

RAIL               Rail

Three railway lines pass through South  Warwickshire providing important commuter facilities at Leamington, Warwick,  Warwick Parkway, Lapworth and Hatton Railway Stations.

AIR

Coventry Airport is in Warwick district although  it is owned by Coventry City Council. It is mainly a general aviation, training  and diversionary facility providing only a small number of scheduled and charter  services. The regions principal airport, Birmingham International, is situated  just six miles north of the area.
