1Tourist Information Centre and Banbury Museum, have now moved from 8 Horsefair. The new
Tourist Information Centre at the canalside in the Castle Quay centre is now open to the public. And the new Banbury Museum opens Spring 2002. 2The Cross, Horsefair. The cross dates from 1859 when it was erected to commemorate the marriage of Victoria to the Crown
Prince of Prussia. Designed by J.Gibbs of Oxford. Figures of Victoria and George V added in 1914.

Butchers Row, a street originally lined with butchers stalls, now home to a series of spandrels and ironwork ornaments marking Banbury as an agricultural and market town.

685-87 High Street, the Edward Vivers building, site of
a cake shop, noticeable for its beautiful 17th Century facade. 7Castle Quay Shopping Centre,
Cornhill. The facade is the entrance to the former Corn Exchange of 1857. A statue of Ceres adorns the pediment.
8St Mary's Church,
built 1790 as a replacement for a large Gothic church. Classical style akin to Wren's London Churches.
