By Train
Oxford railway station is located on the western edge of the city centre, about 10 minutes walk from Carfax (the cental point in the city). The station is managed by Thames Trains, with routes from Stratford-upon-Avon to London Paddington and Bristol, and is also served by Virgin Trains from Scotland to the south coast.
Services to London Paddington run twice an hour during the day, with journeys taking around 60 minutes. X70 The Oxford Express: 24 hour express coaches linking Heathrow Airport with Oxford, running every 30 minutes during the daytimes and every 2 hours overnight. From the airport, leaves Bay 19, Terminal 4, and Bay 10, Heathrow Central Bus Station.
X80 The Oxford Express: 24 hour express coaches linking Gatwick Airport with Oxford, running every hour between 04.00 and 20.00 and every 2 hours overnight. From the airport, leaves Bay 8, South Terminal, and Bay 4, North Terminal, 5 minutes later.

Stagecoach Oxford The Oxford Tube: The Oxford to London service runs 24 hours a day. Coaches run every 10 minutes at busy times
and every 15-20 minutes throughout the rest of the day. There is at least an hourly service during the night. London stops include Victoria, Marble Arch, Notting Hill Gate and Shepherd's Bush/Kensington
Hilton.

By Car
Oxford is connected to London, the M25 and the Midlands by the M40 motorway. Junctions 8 and 9 link directly to the city. The Oxford ring road provides direct access to the south and west coast ports of Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol via the A34.
