A private village museum in what was formerly the blacksmith's shop, comprising one ground floor room with the original forge as the main feature. There are 826 artefacts, the majority from village residents, displayed in glass-fronted wall cabinets. The bulk of the collection being from the earliest part of the last century up to and including the Second World War.

Whilst there are obviously some gaps, we aim to preserve those items from the more recent past, along with prehistoric, Roman and medieval 'finds', to enable visitors to see how their predecessors lived and worked.

Third Sunday each month 2.00pm - 4.30pm, March to November.
The Museum is closed in January, February and December.
Groups by arrangement.

ADMISSION FREE - donations welcome
