CHESHAM

Located in south-eastern Buckinghamshire, the fourth largest town in the county,  Chesham is 28 miles northwest of London, only 7 miles from J18 on the M25 and 9  miles from J8 on the M1. Local towns comprise neighbouring Amersham,  Rickmansworth, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, High Wycombe and Slough.  Commencing at Chesham Metropolitan Line Underground station, the Chess Valley  Walk encapsulates some of the inherent charms of the town and its surroundings

Main Site:
Star Yard Car Park: glass bottles and jars, plastic  bottles, steel and aluminium cans, paper and cardboard, textiles, books.

Other sites include: Albany Place, The Moor, Station Car Park,  Watermeadow Car Park.

Other recycling facilities available: boundary  collection of paper and cardboard for all households on a fortnightly cycle, and  boundary collection of glass bottles and jars for all households on a 4-weekly  cycle. Other refuse services: collection of bulky household waste, free clinical  waste collection, collection of garden waste (charged service). Any queries  please contact the Waste Management Section 0n 729000.

Household Waste  Site: Latimer Road, Chesham. Open 8am - 6pm (summer), 8am-5pm (winter).
Vehicle access height restriction 1.75m. Recycling facilities available:  scrap metal, engine oil, gas cylinders, garden waste, textiles, furniture,  cardboard, paper and glass bottles. For queries regarding the household waste  sites please contact Bucks C.C. on (01296) 382307.
